This guide will show you how to access and remove the hard drive from a Toshiba Satellite P10 or P15 laptop. It is not difficult if you know where to look for the hard drive. LOL.
OK, here it is. The hard drive is located right under the CD/DVD drive. The optical drive is secured by one screw. Remove this screw (shown on the step 2) and carefully pull the CD/DVD drive from the laptop. The hard drive is located right under the metal plate.
When you replace/upgrade the hard drive, do not forget to transfer the shielding (foil) from the old hard drive to the new one.

Here’s my second tutorial for this model. This one will explain how to remove and clean the heatsink. Your laptop shuts down without any reason? The laptop runs hot and is much slower then before? Check the heatsink, most likely it’s clogged with dust causing laptop overheating.

Finally, my third tutorial for Satellite P10 and P15 series laptop. This tutorial explains how to take the whole thing apart and remove the motherboard.

I would recommend to read through all three tutorials if you decide to fix laptop yourself.
