I think this guide also works for Satellite L300 and L300D series. Maybe they look different, but all disassembly steps will be very similar.</p>
<p>The LCD screen and inverter board are secured by the plastic bezel which has to be removed. Unfortunately, in Satellite L305 and L305D laptop it&#8217;s very hard to remove the bezel without removing the top cover assembly. It&#8217;s possible but you can damage the bezel.</p>
<p>I&#8217;ll make a few extra steps and remove the top cover assembly first, as it explained in steps 1-9. Also, you can use this procedure for removing the keyboard and accessing the wireless card and dial up modem hidden under the keyboard.</p>
<p>After the top cover is removed, you can safely remove the display bezel and access the LCD screen with inverter board. If you are replacing the LCD screen or inverter, make sure to use compatible replacement parts.</p>
