			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><img align="left" alt="Toshiba Satellite 1800 1805" title="Toshiba Satellite 1800 1805" src="http://www.laptopka.com/toshiba-laptop/toshiba-1805-cpu.jpg" />This guide will show how to <a target="_blank" href="http://www.irisvista.com/tech/laptops/Toshiba1805/sat1805_CPU.htm">remove and clean the cooling fan</a> on a Toshiba Satellite 1805 or 1800 laptop. In this model you cannot simply access the fan from the door on the bottom of the laptop, you&#8217;ll have to get under the keyboard. As on most Toshiba laptops you access screws securing the keyboard after you remove the keyboard strip (steps 1-3). Do not disconnect the keyboard from the motherboard, just flip it over on the palm rest. Now you can disconnect the colling fan from the motherboard, remove it and clean with compressed air.<br />
Before you install the cooling module back into the laptop, do not forget to apply a think layer of new thermal grease on the CPU. The old thermal grease can be removed with an alcohol wipe.</p>
