Before you start taking apart the LCD screen assembly, do not forget to remove the laptop battery. After you removed the LCD mask seals and screws start to separate the LCD mask from the LCD cover with your fingers. Put you finger under the mask and carefully lift it up until you feel that plastic latches are open. Do not hurry, the LCD mask is very fragile and it is very easy to break it. Do not use a screwdriver or any other sharp object to remove the LCD mask or you can scratch the screen. When you disconnect the video cable from the screen or cables from the FL inverter board, do not pull the cables, open the connector by the edges.</p>
