Jimmy,

can you tell me how to remove the cover thats covering the motherboard? i need to put new thermal compound… please help

this model is same as mine and i cant find any other that looks like mine

Take a look at Satellite A205. I think it's very similar: http://www.irisvista.com/tech/laptops/toshiba-satellite-a205/laptop-disassembly-1.htm
Main disassembly steps should be the same.

I am removing my wireless card. The illustrations that you have here are not like my A 215-S4807. I am unable to remove the bezel completely. I have removed all of the case screws from the back with no success. I do not want to break the case. Any thoughts.

I found it. There is a screw in the motherboard near the jacks that I missed (and is not shown on the A205 dis-assembly guide.

I am having trouble removing the motherboard from an A215. It is free at the top but, it seems to be stuck at the front on the mic, headphone jacks, and volume control. What am I missing?

Adam,

Using this guide I was able to replace the broken keyboard. I spilled some juice and the keyboard stopped working. Found a new one on eBay for $19 and replaced in 30 minutes!!

Congratulations! It's not difficult at all. You just have to be very careful with the connector on the motherboard.
