If I want to replace the wireless card with a N standard card what should I be looking for. Is it a PCI-E mini half height card or just a PCIe mini card? My machine is a Satellite A215-s7422.

Chris Karczmar,

The local shop said my jack needed to be re-sodered to my motherboard. It doesn’t look like it to me! The jack is just loose. Can’t I just re-glue it in place? If so, what adhesive should I use?

Epoxy should work.

I posted jack repair instructions in the following post: http://www.insidemylaptop.com/repair-damaged-power-jack-toshiba-satellite-l305-l355-laptops/
This also might work for your model. Check out comments and see what other user said. I believe people were mentioning Satellite A215 laptops.
Is your AC adapter rated 19v? If yes, you can use same jack.

Luis,

Remove four screws marked with red circles.

My Satellite A215 do not have screws marked in red?

They marked only on my pictures NOT on your laptop. :)

Jimmy,

can you tell me how to remove the cover thats covering the motherboard? i need to put new thermal compound… please help

this model is same as mine and i cant find any other that looks like mine

Take a look at Satellite A205. I think it's very similar: http://www.irisvista.com/tech/laptops/toshiba-satellite-a205/laptop-disassembly-1.htm
Main disassembly steps should be the same.
