I have a broken hinge on my Satellite A80 too. By any chance, does anyone know the part number of the left display hinge?
My laptop model is PSA80L-05N003.

Search eBay USA for “Satellite A80 hinges”. I found them for $28 with free shipping.

Last weekend I managed to successfully replace both hinges on my A45-S250. I just wanted to say thank you for providing your manual, I could not have pulled off the surgery without it. Between the new hinges and maxing out the RAM capacity, I have been able to breath new life into an old machine. Thanks again for all your hard work on the tutorial!

Here are part numbers:
For laptops with letter “S”
Left hinge: P000394150
Right hinge: P000394160

Google the part number and find price you like.

By the way there is an “S” on the bottom of the computer battery case.
