Yudi,

my keyboard for toshiba a55 is error. if we push tuts 0 can’t be display. what is the problem? can it repair? please meil to me the solution.

Make sure there is no foreign object under the key.
In most cases you cannot fix that. You'll have to replace the keyboard.

I recently purchased a used Toshiba Satellite A55-S106. Somehow I managed to lock the computer so when I power on it imediately asks for a password. I dont know of any and I also went back to the place where I purchased it and they have no password either.. Is there a default password I can use? I use my laptop for work and school and its imperative that I access it...... Please HELP!!!!!!!!!

Becky,

I am trying to replace the keyboard on my toshiba satellite m55-s325 but can’t seem to find the exact directions.
Didn't you find instructions for a Satellite M55. For the keyboard replacement follow steps 6-9.

lmassey,

My laptop was overheating also. Would turn itself off. I solved the problem with the purchase of a 4-inch $6 fan from Walmart. It sits by my laptop and keeps it cool as a cucumber.
Wasn't it easier to clean the cooling module inside the laptop. Simply buy a can of compressed air and spray it inside the air intake on the bottom.

Toshiba Satellite A30, 5 years old. For no reason the Keyboard has stopped responding, nothing, tried all the normal combinations to unlock but to no avail. Control panel says it's operating OK, replaced the drivers, not working. Plugged in external USB keyboard which PC recoqnised, again no response. There was a Grokster virus but removed that.
I'm now thinking of taking the keyboard out and replacing it - any more ideas before I do ??
